Femi Fani-Kayode to Osinbajo: "Stop telling Us lies!"

Femi Fani Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation has challenged the Acting President Prof Yemi Osinbajo on the occasion of the health condition of the number one Citizen of the country, President Mahammadu Buhari.

It could be recalled that the President jetted out of the country months ago on the grounds of having a medical checkup in which tensions and controversy about his real state of health have both exasperated most Nigerians.

On a short visit to UK to see Mr President, the Acting President came back with reports that the ailing Commander-in-chief is in "high spirit" and will soon return to the country stronger.

This was swallowed with optimism by the ruling Party chieftains. However, some political pundits on the opposition have voiced their worries on the continuous insistence that the President is recuperating and strong. "This is doubled-talking" a notable statesman argued.

And Femi Fani-Kayode (FFK) adds more bitter taste,
 “I am constrained to tell the Nigerian people that President Buhari is not better and he will never return as president. The truth is that his situation is pathetic and critical.

“Acting President Osinbajo should stop the lies. Nigerians have a right to know the truth,” the former Aviation minister said.

Anambra Polls: Aspirants to Pay N5.5 Million for Ticket

The United Progressive Party (UPP) on Tuesday in Abuja announced that its nomination form for the Nov. 18 governorship election in Anambra would cost N5 million. The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr Ogbuehi Dike, who made this known, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that each aspirant would also pay N500, 000 for "Expression of Interest Form". Dike said that the sale of expression of interest form would commence on Friday, while nomination forms would be available for purchase on Monday at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja. Femi Fani-kayode calls APC "Satan"

Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation has reacted to the All Progressives Congress (APC) decision, to set up on a committee on restructuring Nigeria. Fani-Kayode, writing on his Twitter page, compared the move to "Satan setting up a committee on reconciliation with God". He tweeted: "The APC setting up a commitee on restructuring Nigeria is like satan setting up a commitee on reconciliation with God. They do NOT want it." The APC has set-up a 10-man committee to articulate the party’s position on Nigeria's restructuring. In a terse statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, the ruling party noted that since “the concept of restructuring has assumed different meanings across the six geo-political zones of the country following the renewed agitations, it was important to establish a common meaning that will be acceptable to all."
