An Unidentified Attacker Kills 2 and Wounded 4 in Egypt

A group of tourists from Ukraine have been stabbed to death. While two died, four others were badly injured by an unidentified attacker.

According to Egypt's ministry of interior, the unknown attacker had held a knife against these foreign tourists which left several others severely wounded at the Red Sea holiday resort.

Statement filed by the Authority afterwards affirmed reports that the assailant was arrested. "Investigations into such act of terror are already ongoing" it read.  

The statement also read that the four wounded tourists were from Serbia and Poland respectively. Meanwhile, Vasil Kyrylych, the head of consular branch of the Ukrainian Security department declined to comment on the two victims supposedly from Ukraine.

Anambra Polls: Aspirants to Pay N5.5 Million for Ticket

The United Progressive Party (UPP) on Tuesday in Abuja announced that its nomination form for the Nov. 18 governorship election in Anambra would cost N5 million. The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr Ogbuehi Dike, who made this known, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that each aspirant would also pay N500, 000 for "Expression of Interest Form". Dike said that the sale of expression of interest form would commence on Friday, while nomination forms would be available for purchase on Monday at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja. He said the sale of forms would be followed by the screening of candidates for the primaries, which would hold on Aug. 19, 2017. Femi Fani-kayode calls APC "Satan"

Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation has reacted to the All Progressives Congress (APC) decision, to set up on a committee on restructuring Nigeria. Fani-Kayode, writing on his Twitter page, compared the move to "Satan setting up a committee on reconciliation with God". He tweeted: "The APC setting up a commitee on restructuring Nigeria is like satan setting up a commitee on reconciliation with God. They do NOT want it." The APC has set-up a 10-man committee to articulate the party’s position on Nigeria's restructuring.
