N-power Announces Another Badge of Application for N-Tax

N-power has announced on Monday, the 17th of July, another update about the new badge of applications for N-tax category.

This is coming after the Scheme reportedly extended its deadline for the rest of other applications by two weeks.

Unbelievable!!! Preaching Ban Revived in Yobe State

Sources familiar with the development,  informed E-conner that  Gov. Ibrahim Gaidam of Yobe on Wednesday revived the Islamic and Christian Preaching Control Committees in effort  to regulate preaching activities across the state. Gaidam made this known when he received Dr Jeremiah Gado, the President of Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), who paid him a courtesy visit in Damaturu. "This is in conformity with Section 3 (1) and (3) of the Yobe State Religious Preaching Control Edict, 1994. "The purpose of the edict is to regulate preaching and ensure that only authorised persons are allowed to preach in mosques, churches and other public places, to avoid the breakdown of public peace." He said that his administration was committed to promoting inter and intra-religious harmony and peaceful co-existence among the various Ethno-religious groups in the state. Kaduna on Fire: 37 Dead in a Fresh Attack by Herdsmen

Another tragedy struck afresh in Kaduna State yesterday as 37 people were killed in Kajuru Local Government Area of the state. The incident came barely three days after four herdsmen were said to have been killed by gunmen in the same place. Reports obtained by Channels TV held that the fresh round of violence is said to have erupted between farmers and herders, leaving many other people injured in Kajuru which is about 50 kilometres from Kaduna, the state capital. According to eyewitnesses, crisis started when some Fulani youths stormed Ungwan Uka village to avenge the death of a certain herdsman allegedly killed by some village youths at a farm. Mr Agyole Abeh, the State's Commissioner of Police confirmed the incident to Channels TV. Mr Abeh added that "policemen and soldiers have been deployed to the troubled area to ensure peace returns to the community".
