There has never been anything as disarming as the emergence of the social media, especially in the wake of increasing rumours, gossips and the likes.

Yesterday, we woke up to the news of the sudden demise of a world notable and renowned Evangelist and gospel record artiste, Donald Moen (Don Meon) only for the "sudden death" which was supposedly caused by a brief stomach pains to be debunked by son who replied Frank Edward's twitter inquiry into the matter, as FAKE NEWS!

US State Secretary Rex Tillerson has said Washington is not trying to topple Kim Jong-Un's regime in North Korea, but Pyongyang must halt its nuclear missile programme. "We do not seek a regime change. We do not seek the collapse of the regime. We do not seek an accelerated reunification of the peninsula," he said during a press conference in Washington on Tuesday. "We do not seek an excuse to send our military north of the 38th parallel. And we're trying to convey that to the North Koreans. We are not your enemy. We're not your threat, but you are presenting an unacceptable threat to us, and we have to respond." Unbelievable!!! Preaching Ban Revived in Yobe State

Sources familiar with the development,  informed E-conner that  Gov. Ibrahim Gaidam of Yobe on Wednesday revived the Islamic and Christian Preaching Control Committees in effort  to regulate preaching activities across the state. Gaidam made this known when he received Dr Jeremiah Gado, the President of Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), who paid him a courtesy visit in Damaturu. "This is in conformity with Section 3 (1) and (3) of the Yobe State Religious Preaching Control Edict, 1994. "The purpose of the edict is to regulate preaching and ensure that only authorised persons are allowed to preach in mosques, churches and other public places, to avoid the breakdown of public peace."
