Cuba President Raul Castro Slams His US Counterpart

Since the current US administration rolled back a partial US-Cuba detente a month ago, Cuba President yesterday slammed Trump of ignoring broad support in pursuit of policies that only benefit Cuba-American hardliners.

He said while addressing an audience of the National Assembly members that the United States' attempt over the past 11 years to topple the regime has purportedly failed and will continue to be unsuccessful if such unpopular moves by the US Government persist.

"We reject the manipulation of the topic of human rights against Cuba, that can be proud of much in this area, and does not need to receive lessons from the United States nor anyone," he taunted.

Although while the US-Cuba relationship has been frosty over the years, many Nationals believe if the US President extends a hand of friendship to the Cuba government, it will help defrost the already soured ties with the communist regime.

Tillerson tells Lavrov: Russia's meddling led to mistrust!

The US has cautiously raised concern over Russia's alleged interference in last year's presidential election and its effect on relations between the two nations. US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said on Monday that he told Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov Moscow's meddling in the vote created "serious mistrust" between the two countries. At Last, FG offers Biafra to Nnamdi Kanu

It was gathered that the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, yesterday, disclosed that the Federal  Government offered him Biafra Republic while in Prison with only the five South East States as the component parts but he rejected it. According to him, he rejected it because that did not constitute the complete Biafra, saying that he told them that he wanted a Biafra with Rivers and Benue States inclusive. The IPOB leader also claimed that he was offered an oil block and mansion in Dubai aimed at making him to abandon the cause but that he rejected them and insisted on the actualization of Biafra.
